Ingredients:
  • 500 g mutton goat meat
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 cups gongura leaves washed, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Pressure cook mutton with turmeric, salt, and little water until tender.
  2. Heat oil, sauté onions, curry leaves, and ginger-garlic paste.
  3. Add chili powder, coriander powder, and tomatoes. Cook until soft.
  4. Mix in cooked mutton and simmer with masala.
  5. Add chopped gongura leaves, cook until wilted and blended.
  6. Finish with garam masala.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:
  • Best served with hot steamed rice.
  • Can be paired with jowar roti or chapati.
  • Add papad and onion salad for a complete Andhra meal.
