Ingredients
  

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rava semolina
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 green chili slit
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • cups water
  • Curry leaves mustard seeds, cashews
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Dry roast semolina until fragrant. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil/ghee, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chili, cashews.
  3. Add onions, ginger, and carrots. Sauté.
  4. Pour in water, add salt, bring to boil.
  5. Slowly add roasted rava while stirring continuously.
  6. Cook until soft and fluffy.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:
  • Serve with coconut chutney.
  • Pairs well with sambar.
  • Can be topped with ghee for extra flavor.
