Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds roasted, powdered
  • 2 dried red chilies
  • Curry leaves mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, peanuts
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Heat oil and temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, chilies, and dals.
  2. Add tamarind paste, cook until thick.
  3. Stir in sesame powder and peanuts.
  4. Mix with cooked rice until evenly coated.
  5. Let rest 15 minutes for flavors to absorb.
