- Wash and soak all dals for 30 minutes.
- Pressure cook dals with turmeric, salt, and water until soft.
- Heat ghee, add cumin, red chilies, and hing.
- Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, and sauté.
- Add tomatoes and spices, cook until soft.
- Add cooked dal and simmer 10 minutes.

- Garnish with fresh coriander and a spoonful of ghee.
