  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

For Masala Sauce:
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes pureed
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon, and spices for 2+ hours.
  2. Grill chicken until charred on edges, set aside.
  3. Heat butter + oil, sauté onions until golden.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, and dry spices. Cook until thick.
  5. Add grilled chicken tikka pieces, simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in cream and garnish with fresh coriander.
