  • 2 cups all-purpose flour maida
  • ½ cup ghee melted
  • 1 cup chilled water approx
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups water for syrup
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands soaked in milk
  • Chopped nuts almonds, pistachios

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Mix flour with ghee, then gradually add chilled water to make a thin batter.
  2. Heat ghee in a deep pan, pour batter in a thin stream from height to form a net-like disc. Fry until golden.
  3. Make sugar syrup with sugar, water, and cardamom.
  4. Dip ghevar in warm syrup briefly, remove, and let excess syrup drain.
  5. Garnish with saffron milk and chopped nuts.
