Ingredients:
  • 1 kg chicken preferably bone-in pieces
  • 2 cups fresh coriander leaves
  • 6 green chilies
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1- inch ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Grind coriander, green chilies, ginger, garlic, cumin, peppercorns, turmeric, and vinegar into a smooth paste.
  2. Marinate chicken with this masala overnight.
  3. Heat oil, sauté onions until golden.
  4. Add chicken pieces with marinade. Cook covered until chicken is tender (35–40 minutes).
  5. Roast on high flame at the end for smoky flavor.
