Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup curd yogurt
  • 1 tbsp milk optional
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger chopped
  • Curry leaves mustard seeds, urad dal (for tempering)
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Mash cooked rice lightly.
  2. Mix with curd and milk (for creaminess).
  3. Prepare tempering with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, urad dal, and chili.
  4. Add tempering to rice and mix well.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Serving Suggestions:
  • Enjoy as a main dish in summer.
  • Pairs with pickle or papad.
  • Serve with fried green chilies on the side.
