Step 1: Prepare Gatte
- Mix besan, spices, yogurt, and ghee into a stiff dough.
- Roll into long cylindrical logs.
- Boil in salted water for 8–10 minutes.
- Slice into small pieces.
Step 2: Make Curry
- Heat ghee, add cumin + mustard.
- Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, and spices.
- Whisk yogurt + besan and add slowly while stirring.
- Simmer for 10–12 minutes.
Step 3: Combine
- Add sliced gatte into curry.
- Simmer for 5 minutes and serve hot.
